Wow, you're lucky to have those temps........we got darn snow today.....tonight, the wind chills here will be a "mind boggling" -20 to -30 ......... they are saying on the news that it will be so brutally cold tonight, and tomorrow, that businesses might not even be open tomorrow. I really worry about our son, who works outdoors all the time.........it's going to be brutal, to say the least.
What is scanning for Shopkick? I suppose it requires one to have a cell phone? I'm waiting to get another Amazon.com GC from my favorite, "Go Save" game program!!!! This will make the 6th or 7th one so far!
Very interesting dress.......I refuse to wear dresses, of any sort.......LOL!!!!!

yes, shopkick with with a smartphone...one of many programs I've found to make some money and such.
I'm not much for dresses either, but it's dress up time with the 125th anniversary coming up LOL

Nice dress, not the right colors for me, I prefer darks.....love darks......black and white.
but as for what I wore to church?
I don't go to church. I don't need to go to a building to have a relationship with God.

Very good Mooch, I know several who don't attend a church building. I would be lost without my church family though.
We are doing period dress this month at church among other things as part of a year long celebration of the church's 125th anniversary (didn't want you to think I dress like this all the time LOL)

We have a HUGE church.........around 3,500 people, with 5 or 6 different branches throughout the city......at the present time, we worship in an elementary school building until we get our own church building........it's non-denominational and we absolutely LOVE it........very "non-traditional!"

One doesn't need a church to relate to God, but Paul told us not to neglect the assembling of ourselves together. Since the church is the body of Christ, it acts as his arms and legs when one of the congregation needs help and it gives us opportunity to serve on another and express our love. I would have been lost without my churches when my son died. Actually three churches, two past and the one I attended at the time helped in various ways, as did other Christian friends of our family. A church is like an extended family.

I must admit I was looking forward to seeing what you wore to church today. That's really pretty.
I've seen no reason for the expense of a smartphone, but you seem to make it pay pretty well.

most people are dressing up :( The choir is all wearing hats. Some other women in the congregation are also wearing old hats. A couple of the guys keep wearing tye dye t-shirts LOL
My mom wore her bell bottoms and a flowery shirt one Sunday LOL
